About Amie
In 2014, Amie Lorenzen left a Chartered Accountancy firm to start her own bookkeeping business. Driven by frustration at only seeing her clients once a year, she saw first hand how limited contact and support held businesses back.
Starting as a sole trader, Amie provided small businesses with hands-on financial support, from bookkeeping and accounting to management reporting and virtual CFO services. As the business grew, Figuration Limited was formed, and now Amie and her team delivers a full suite of business consulting, accounting and bookkeeping services.
A passionate advocate for her profession, Amie is actively involved with industry organizations. She currently holds the position of Board Chair for ATAINZ (Accountants and Tax Agents Institute of New Zealand), as well holding a position on XPAC (Xero Partner Advisory Council). She is also a member of IOD (Institute of Directors), and a Master Bookkeeper member of ICNZB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers).
